AIToolScore (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
We use browser storage to keep a randomly generated rating session identifier on your device. This helps us reduce duplicate rating submissions. The identifier does not contain directly identifying information, but it may persist until you clear site data in your browser.
When you submit a rating, we hash your IP address using SHA-256 before storing it. The plaintext IP address is never written to our database. The hash is used solely to prevent duplicate ratings from the same source and cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.
If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you voluntarily subscribe for updates, we store the email address you submit and the page source that generated the signup. We use this information only to send product updates and related site communications.
Browser-stored rating identifiers remain on your device until you clear them. Hashed IP addresses and user-agent hashes used for abuse prevention may be retained for moderation and security purposes. Subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
